Law Admission Test (CLAT) and DU Law Entrance Exam:-

The common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all –India Entrance Test conducted by fourteen (Presently) National Law Universities for admissions to under-graduate and post-graduate courses (LL.B &LL.M) Offered by them.

There are however, certain National Law Universities in the country which are not part of CLAT and therefore the CLAT scores do not apply to them.

CLAT is generally held in the month of May every year.

The fourteen National Law Universities which are presently part of CLAT are:

(ix) Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala (RGNUL)

(x) Chanakya National Law University, Patna (CNLU)

(xi) National University of Advanced of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi (NUALS)

(xii) National Law University, Odisha (NLUO)

(xiii) National University of Study & Research in Law, Ranchi (NUSRL)

Eligibility: To be eligible for appearing in CLAT, tor the Under – Graduate (LL. B) Programme, a candidate should have passed Higher Secondary School/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) and his/her age should be less than 20 for General candidates and 22 in case of SC and ST candidates.
